There’s nothing worse than unpacking your shiny, new guitar, tuning it, setting the action, plugging it into the amp and..the first time you bend a string you feel it…
The nasty ‘scratchy’ feeling as the string catches on the on the grungy fret, and this is not just limited to low/mid range guitars, it’s also found on some well known ‘brands’ high end guitars.
The most common cause for this issue is that many guitars are stored in a warehouse somewhere often for many months, not in a climate controlled environment, so nature takes it’s course.
